Hi there, I’m isabel fink!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and owner of Rooted and Rising Therapy.
I’m all about creating comfy, welcoming space for you to explore life’s ups and downs. I am passionate about working with women, families, and teens. Whether it's boosting self esteem, tackling anxiety, setting healthy boundaries, healing from trauma, or navigating depression, I'm here for you.
I received my undergraduate from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (go bulldogs!) and my graduate degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of St. Thomas. I have my marriage and family license in Texas and my associate’s license in Minnesota (under the supervision of Jill Bias).
I lived in North Texas during the first 3 years of my professional life. The DFW area holds a special spot in my heart and is an area I care deeply about. Outside of the therapy space, I love to spend my time outside with friends, family, and most importantly, my dog.

My Approach
The key to fruitful therapy? Connection. I'm all about making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported. In our judgement free space, you're free to open up about anything life throws at you. Your well being is my top priority, and I'm here to nurture that connection every step of the way. Let's dive in and start this journey together!
I bring a holistic and compassionate approach by drawing upon my diverse experiences and comprehensive understanding of human behavior. I employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address the unique needs and concerns of my clients. Together, we can create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions freely.
Clinical Interests
I am dedicated to serving individuals (8+), couples, and families in Texas and Minnesota. I am particularly interested in supporting those who navigate multiple identities that challenge the prevailing norms of our community.
My clinical focus is on creating a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their unique experiences, while addressing the complexities of identity, culture, and belonging in a context that often feels restrictive. I aim to empower individuals by validating their diverse backgrounds and fostering resilience, while also providing tools to cope with the unique stressors they face in the context of life.
Specialties
I take a special interest in emotional regulation, childhood trauma and its impact on current functioning, co-parenting support, and understanding the systemic impacts on individuals and families alike.
By integrating culturally sensitive approaches, I strive to promote healing and growth, helping clients embrace their authentic selves and cultivate meaningful connections.
